About ME

I graduated from the King Saud University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. I started my M.Sc. with Hossein Rouhani in the last winter of 2018.

Research Interests:

  • Ergonomic assessment
  • Unobtrusive motion capture systems
  • Musculoskeletal biomechanics

Starting in the summer of 2018, I worked on my first research project. The project pertains to use unobtrusive motion capture sensor to monitor workers in the workplace. The main objective of this project is to develop automated ergonomic assessment tools by using the Microsoft Kinect and wearable sensors. The potential outcome is to provide an inexpensive replacement for the direct methods used to assess the hazard in workstations.

The ergonomic assessment project I am working on involves a Microsoft Kinect optical sensor and C# .Net language for rendering kinematic data from Kinect and process it.
