ABOUT ME
I am currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Alberta, building on my foundation in electrical engineering. I earned my Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2025, focusing on electronic circuit design, digital systems, signal processing, and control systems. I also completed a fully funded research internship at the University of Alberta under the supervision of Dr. Hossein Rouhani through the MITACS Globalink Research Program.

BCI Enhanced Stress Management System: From custom sensor design to real-time interventions (UG Thesis)
This project involved designing an EEG acquisition circuit from the ground up, integrating amplifiers, filters, and noise-robust signal conditioning to capture clean brain activity readings. The EEG sensor was paired with an ESP32 for wireless Bluetooth data transmission, and wavelet transforms were applied to extract alpha, beta, and gamma frequency bands linked to stress response. A CNN-based model was then trained on this data to classify stress levels, with results delivered through a mobile application for real-time visualization and management. Gait Monitoring Framework for Cerebral Palsy (MITACS)
